“We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.” – Warren Buffett

Nick Tuma was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Fort Myers, Florida. He graduated from Tallahassee Community College (where he didn’t quite fit in) and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (where he finally fit in). After he finished with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Graphic Communication, he began his journey to where he is at today.

He spent 13 years working in the Army National Guard as a Staff Sergeant. During this time he experienced many different cultures (free of charge) traveling to Canada, Kaiserslautern, Germany, Mosel, Iraq, and Kuwait. These experiences through military service created a structured foundation to begin his next chapter.

After deciding to stay in Tallahassee, Florida and working briefly as a print manager at a local print shop and as a consultant for various local firms, he (finally) decided to step off the ridge and begin graphic design freelancing full-time. Furthermore, he never looked back.

Today, Nick uses research, brainstorming and a sense of aesthetics, to create solutions for web design, graphic design, social media growth, and search engine optimization. The process he utilizes (structured chaos) helps individuals identify who they are, establish brand affinity, and meet specific targets. Similarly, his methods and style of creating, listening, and collaborating build unique brands and businesses.

In conclusion, Nick hopes to continue to be a business strategist and creative (until he is old and gray). He wishes to help brands and people to create their legacy. He volunteers with the local chapter Tallahassee chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), a non-profit group for graphic artists, as their treasurer. Among other things, he believes that the youth are our future and is willing to talk to any small business owner or student.
