For what its worth: It is never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over” ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald

SARA SANDS

Hi! My name is Sara Sands, I’m 23 years old, and I’m living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is known for its beautiful scenery, hiking and biking trails, Lake Superior, and lots and lots of snow. I just graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Communications and English. I’ve loved studying both subjects, as I love to learn about other people and I love to read and write as well. I’ve been working at a local pastry shop for five years, and I’ve just recently started job-searching for something in my field.

I’ve always loved to travel, I’ve been to 11 countries so far, and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon! I traveled with the EF College Break group to nine European countries, as well as Costa Rica this past summer. To me traveling is just something that is really fulfilling as far as a feeling of self-actualization, and it just makes me really happy to be able to have more experiences in life. I have plans to continue traveling once I save up some money to be able to do so, and I hope that it is something that can help me continue to grow as a person throughout my whole life.
