Are you currently living abroad Teaching English as a Foreign Language or to Speakers of a Second Language after training as a TEFL or TESOL teacher? Do you want to be a part of a community that is a small tight-knit group of expats, travelers, and professionals who thrive on making the world a better place? Then search no more. Dreams Abroad is that family.
We Teach is a place where teachers and international education professionals can openly discuss their experience abroad and in the USA. Our forum gives educators the opportunity to communicate before, during, and after their experiences. We cover everything from pre-departure, arrival, lesson planning, teaching methods, and for those who teach abroad, the return home.
We Teach is our way of leaving an imprint for those following or joining the world of education who might need guidance, tips, or even just a person in their city to speak with on occasion. These are academic calendar year interviews with teachers or teaching assistants who have volunteered their time to talk with us. Each We Teacher has become part of the Dreams Abroad family. We archive all of our interviews from previous years. Best of all, we showcase our newest interviews from the current school year on our homepage.
We select our participants based on applications and recommendations. After receiving these, we interview those who apply. If selected, each We Teach member is interviewed throughout the school year for our three-part series. In this series, we explore the life of a teacher abroad. For example, we discuss their social life, classroom experiences, and travel abroad.
If you would like to be part of our small team of We Teach educators and can make the commitment for a year, please submit your application and we will get back to you.
